Day of the Resurrection!!

Happy Easter everyone!
Great news!! I finally got my camera to work, so I was able to take a lot of pictures of the party we had! We had a BBQ, and had a bunch of friends over. Coordinated a scavenger hunt (thank you Lund kids for last year!!). This year I had some friends to help me plan! The clues were a mixture of Bible verses, song lyrics, and movie quotes! Parents, bigs kids, and little kids all had their own clues, and bags of goodies!

Here are some of my favorite pictures! Enjoy!!!!

The boys having a sword fight!

Asparagus growing wild near a tree. Yummy!

My dad planted some flowers in an old toilet.

My circle garden. Its getting better by the day!

One of the gifts from the scavanger hunt was little rubbery pet things with glowing orbs in them. My brother Doug squeezed all the air into it's head. This one was a snail.
This sweet little guy was freaked out by the glowing orb!!! Great picture though!! LOL

Some of our friends came over too! They were playing with bubbles  out in the front yard.

More children on the merry go round!

And even more out playing basketball!

During the BBQ, a coal blew into a bush... Yes. we witnessed the burning bush on our farm! LOL Thankfully, Katherine noticed it, and told my dad. We put the fire out fast, especially since it was up against the house! No damage though!

Sweet little baby fell asleep.

Another child from one of our friends. Isn't she a cutie?

My circle garden got some new flowers in it!

Our dog, Mac, grabbed a plate from the porch and took it to his own separate spot, so he could lick the food off in peace.

Angus! He's so sweet!!

Beautiful sunset to a beautiful day!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures! Next post will be about my endevours on extracting fragrance from flowers and how my garden is pulling together!
Until then!  Bye!
